Finish Options
Coatings for exterior joinery must be able to ”breath” to create a healthy living climate on the inside and to release moisture outside if necessary. A Polyurethane finish cannot do this. All the products used on Econstrukt units are water based and have been specially developed for use on windows and doors. For a natural look all our wood stains and clear coats are matt.
All units are finished using products from the one of the market market leaders in joinery coatings, Adler. 3 or 4 coats of water-based quality products are applied to ensure a long lifespan of the finish. The finish is applied in a modern staining channel and with airless spray systems to ensure the proper film thickness. The endgrain and v-joints are sealed in additional work steps.
Adler offer maintenance products which extend the re-painting intervals of the joinery.
